Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) President J. Michael End on Thursday issued the following statement upon the news of the death of U.S. Seventh District Court of Appeals Judge Terence Evans:
“Judge Terence Evans’ death is a great loss to the legal community and to all people who seek justice in court. Judge Evans worked every day of his legal career to accomplish a just result in the cases he decided.
He was fair and respectful to the litigants and attorneys who appeared before him. His decisions were a joy to read because of his insight and wit. His death is more than the loss of a great jurist. It is the loss of a great human being.
The members and staff of the Wisconsin Association for Justice extend their condolences to the family of Judge Evans.”
