Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers hires Wisconsin Strategies
MADISON - The Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers (WATL) today announced it has retained the services of Wisconsin Strategies, a newly formed alliance of top government relations firms and professionals to assist the organization in achieving a wide range of goals both internally and externally.
"Wisconsin Strategies offers an unmatched set of services that will provide us with more options to pursue our agenda," said Robert L. Jaskulski, incoming WATL President. "They have the right blend of experience, skills and vision for WATL as we move forward."
Wisconsin Strategies alliance partner Joe Strohl will join Paul Sicula as a lobbyist for WATL, while The Shop Consulting will focus on strategic planning, communications and member development.
Joe Strohl explained, "We are excited to be working with the current WATL Staff and leadership and look forward to working with them to build upon their already solid reputation."
The Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers is the largest voluntary statewide bar organization in Wisconsin. Members of the Academy are attorneys who represent consumers seeking to hold wrongdoers accountable for injuries arising from accidents, malpractice or unsafe products.
WATL's principal objectives are to promote continuing legal education for the betterment of the trial bar profession; and to preserve Wisconsin's civil justice system by working with the state legislature and other governmental bodies, as an advocate for the legal rights of all Wisconsin citizens.
The Academy is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2007.
