Milwaukee attorney Jeffrey A. Pitman elected Vice President of state lawyer group

MADISON, Wis. - Milwaukee attorney Jeffrey A. Pitman was elected Vice President of the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) at the organization's annual meeting on Dec. 3.  Pitman was one of five officers sworn in to serve during 2011. In addition, 33 members of the association's Board of Directors were installed.

As Vice President, Pitman will be the third highest-ranking elected officer of WAJ.

Jeffrey Pitman is a named partner of Pitman, Kyle, Sicula & Dentice, S.C., in Milwaukee and Watertown specializing in representing victims of serious injury and nursing home abuse and neglect.

Pitman graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1987 and received his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 1990.

Pitman has been certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 2000. He has been an active member on the Board of Directors for Wisconsin Association for Justice, the Elder Law section of the Wisconsin State Bar, the Nursing Home Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

He lectures extensively on nursing home abuse and neglect and has authored numerous articles in the area of personal injury litigation. Jeff was selected by Law & Politics Magazine as a Wisconsin Super LawyerTM  in each of the last five years (2006-10) and has been granted the coveted AV Peer Review Rating by a panel of his peers. The AV rating shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.

He resides in Bayside with his wife, Desiree.
